1. Who We Are

Leef's Rotation ("we," "us," "our") operates the Leef's Rotation mobile application and website (the "Platform"), a private, members-only social community for verified adults. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Identity Information

Name, email address, phone number, and password (or third-party sign-in credentials via Google/Apple)
Date of birth, used solely to verify you are 21 or older
Government-issued ID or selfie-verification data submitted during identity/age verification, processed via our verification provider

Profile & Content Information

Profile details you provide: bio, lifestyle interests/tags, photos, videos, GIFs, audio/playlist links, and profile header media
Content you post in Rotations, Cyphers (live sessions), and messages
Communications with other Cyphers, including direct messages and group chats

Location Information

With your permission, we collect approximate or precise location to show nearby members and local Rotations/events. You may disable location sharing at any time in Settings.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe (or another payment processor). We do not store your full payment card number; our processor handles that data under its own security standards and privacy policy.

Usage & Device Information

We automatically collect device type, IP address, app usage patterns, crash logs, and similar diagnostic data to maintain and improve the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

To verify your age and identity and maintain a 21+, verified-member community
To operate core features: profiles, Rotations, Cyphers (live video), messaging, and translation
To process subscription payments and manage membership tiers
To detect, investigate, and act on reports of abuse, harassment, or Community Guidelines violations
To send service notifications (live sessions, messages, event reminders) and, with consent, promotional communications
To improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Platform

4. Age & Identity Verification

Leef's Rotation is restricted to adults 21 years of age or older. Verification data (date of birth, and where applicable, ID/selfie verification) is used only to confirm eligibility and is retained only as long as necessary for compliance and safety purposes, or as required by law.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Service providers who help us operate the Platform, including payment processing (Stripe), real-time video (LiveKit), translation (Google Cloud Translation/DeepL), and messaging/notification delivery
Other Cyphers, to the extent you choose to share profile information, post content, or participate in Rotations and Cyphers
Legal authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Leef's Rotation or others
A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a comparable one

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; EU/UK residents may have rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise these rights
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time; service-related messages (e.g. security notices) cannot be opted out of while your account is active

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored on the Platform.

9. Children's Privacy

Leef's Rotation is strictly for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email prior to the change taking effect.
